Today we’re chatting with Errin Weisman, who is a physician trained in family medicine, life coach, podcaster and fierce advocate for wellness in medicine. She faced professional burnout early in her career and speaks openly about her story in order to help others know they are not alone, particularly female physicians and working moms. Dr. Weisman wholeheartedly believes to be a healer, you must first fill your own cup. She lives and practices life coaching and medicine in rural Southwestern Indiana, loves her roles as a farmer's wife, athlete, and mother of three. She also hosts the Doctor Me First podcast.

I wanted to bring Errin on the show because my experience really is with professionals who tend to work in more corporate working environments, or who are entrepreneurs who work from home. A lot of the strategies that work for people in corporate or who own their own business aren’t always going to work for people like doctors, nurses, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, and other people whose jobs are inherently stressful, and who might even deal with life and death on a daily basis. I wanted to chat with Errin to explore how people in those types of high-stakes professions can find some relief and inspiration as well.
