- Higher intensity exercises are doing you more harm than good. Yes, you can lose weight with HIIT, but it will cause more stress on your body, which impacts your overall metabolism.
- Women specifically suffer more from elevated cortisol levels, especially as they age, because their ability to resist cortisol and deal with stress is going to decline as our estrogen and progesterone decline. If you do have lower estrogen levels, there are certain foods that you can eat that can actually help us continue to produce a little bit more estrogen.
- Your ability to absorb nutrients is going to heavily rely on the healthiness of your gut and your gut lining. A diet rich in fiber will ensure that your gut stays strong and healthy to absorb essential vitamins and nutrients.
