My guest today is Dr. Rick Hanson, one of the world’s leading psychologists.

Dr. Hanson is a New York Times best selling author, guest speaker at NASA, Oxford, Stanford and Harvard to name a few and the host the very popular Being Well podcast.

Dr. Hanson's most recent book is ‘Resilient – Find Your Inner Strength’ and in today’s episode we do a deep dive into what resilience is, why we all need it and how to develop it.

People often think that developing resilience requires going through extreme hardship and periods of challenge. By contrast, Dr. Hanson's approach to developing resilience is stress free and in many respects enjoyable.
