Do you want to have a difficult conversation with your child but you don't know where to start? Perhaps I can help. I have worked with children for almost two decades as a teacher and school counselor. I have had to guide parents and children through difficult conversations ranging from the loss of a pet, to suicidal ideation. These conversations are never easy, but with a little preparation, they are not impossible. Join me as I walk you through ten steps that may make your conversation a little easier.

Another resource we speak about on this episode relating to "think time" comes from the website: https://www.edutopia.org/article/extending-silence
It's a great article written by John McCarthy, titled "Extending the Silence".
