Howard Schiffer's journey started in a unique place at a time when midwifery was not an accepted practice. He was passionate about providing care to mothers, and through this process, learned about the importance of maternal nutrition. When a natural disaster hit California, Howard Schiffer answered the call. What he didn't know was that this disaster would also shape the trajectory of his career. Since that day, Howard and his team at Vitamin Angels have delivered millions of micronutrients to women and children across the globe, transforming communities and saving lives. Today, Vitamin Angels partners with Johns Hopkins, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, Whole Foods, and now our team at Vitamin & Me, to deliver nutrition across the world.
