Manage episode 407433978 series 3560186
We live in a stressful world, and many of us seem to constantly be stuck in fight or flight. No matter how hard we try to relax, it seems as if we’re always just a little bit activated.
In this episode, we talk with Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, a pioneer in NeuroAcoustics, who has been using sound therapy to help his patients move back to states of calm and balance. He’s found that we each have a unique fundamental frequency, or specific sound that when listened to helps us get out of fight or flight and back to homeostasis.
It is from this state of homeostasis, that we give our bodies a chance to heal from chronic conditions and experience profound shifts in our physical, mental, and emotional health.
