Elizabeth Hoge, MD is a Professor and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Research Program in the Department of Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Hoge completed her psychiatry residency training and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. During her research fellowship, she earned a Masters in Medical Science from the Harvard Medical School-Massachusetts Institute of Technology program in Health Sciences and Technology with a focus on clinical trials. Her research focuses on treatments for anxiety disorders, including medication, psychotherapy and mindfulness, and the examination of biomarkers of anxiety, stress, and trauma. She has over 50 publications in the medical research literature and is on the Scientific Council of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
