Tommy Laplante has shaken hands with drug dealers and politicians, both in the same day. His story is about lows and highs, pain and love, devastation and restoration.
For most of his life, Tommy believed that he was alone and that nobody cared. To support his addictions, he sold drugs and inflicted physical pain on those around him. Eventually, he found himself sitting in secure lock-up. During his darkest time, he made a deal with God. In this episode, hear how Tommy’s prayers were heard. You will hear how his life has come full circle, and how he is now able to help people he once knew from the streets.
Tommy has learned that there is a big difference in doing bad and being bad. While he can’t change what he has done, he has certainly changed who he has become. Tommy’s faith in God has allowed him to understand that he wasn’t an accident, and he now understands that there always was a plan for his life.
