With a stable job and affordable housing secured, financial education is a key factor in maintaining and eventually improving one's situation. Taking classes on budgeting, financial planning, and homeownership can be invaluable. Many local community centers, credit unions, and non-profit organizations offer these services free of charge. This is where a financial advisor comes in! As you will hear in the episode, Doina is a licensed financial advisor. Doina also shares that there are financial advisors who are willing to help those in need at no upfront cost to assist in stabilizing the financial life of the client.

Certainly, this journey is not easy and it requires a great deal of determination, discipline, and patience.
