Kari discusses that she find supervising clinicians, clinicians begin to feel afraid to discuss the topic of weight loss and often times the clinician may "shut down the client." Kari emphasizes the importance of learning to "speak your clients language" first and foremost. Perhaps what we say needs to shift as we "sit" in our clients discomfort.
