In the latest episode of ArTEEtude, inspired by the natural beauty and artistic community of West Cork, we examine a critical question: Are humans inherently destructive, or do we hold the key to the planet's preservation? This multidisciplinary exploration sheds light on our complex nature through philosophical, historical, and psychological lenses, urging us to reflect on our actions and their global implications.

As professionals, leaders, and educators, we have a pivotal role in fostering a culture of responsibility, innovation, and compassion. How can we leverage our expertise and influence to inspire positive change?

I invite you to listen to the episode and share your thoughts on how we can collectively pave the way for a sustainable and equitable future.

Detlef Schlich is a podcaster, visual artist, filmmaker, ritual designer, and media archaeologist based in West Cork. He primarily works in performance, photography, painting, sound, installations, and film. In his work, he reflects on the human condition and uses the digital shaman's methodology as an alter ego to create artwork. His media archaeology is a conceptual and practical exercise in uncovering the unique aesthetic, cultural and political aspects of media in culture.
