In this episode I'm joined by Dr. Farah Alrajaan, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, and Registered Dietitian, to learn about the health risks associated with plastic, and identifying everyday sources of plastic and chemical exposure. We discuss the importance of detoxification and the benefits of consuming organic foods. Dr. Alrajaan emphasizes the need for consumers to be informed and proactive about our health, particularly in the context of rising chronic illnesses linked to toxic loads that are caused by normal, day to day life. About Dr. Farah Alrajaan:

Dr. Farah Alrajaan, is a Licensed Naturopathic doctor and Registered dietitian with a background in psychology and functional nutrition. Dr. Alrajaan did her undergraduate work and obtained her dietetic license at Pepperdine University and her graduate work at New York University, ultimately obtaining her Doctorate from the esteemed Bastyr University, California.

Dr. Alrajaan believes in the whole-body approach to healing and assessing the root cause of any illness. She believes in the body's innate ability to heal and the importance of nutrition and detox in overall health and longevity. She has a special interest in today’s topic environmental medicine.
