It’s a pleasure to welcome Phin Robinson back to the podcast.

Phin is the Founder and a Director at Pure Physiotherapy, established in 2006 and employing 350 physiotherapists. As part of their business model, Pure Physiotherapy support Primary Care Networks with the provision of First Contact Physiotherapists.

Phin also teaches on some University programs and delivers training courses for those wishing to become accredited supervisors.

In this podcast, we cover:

  1. How Pure Physio support Primary Care Networks currently.
  2. Phin's advice about how to approach workforce planning, and funding a service with non-recurrent funding.
  3. The importance of peer support and clinical supervision.
  4. Why hiring a team who challenges you and helps you to grow is key.

Phin was originally a guest on the podcast in episode 223, and his colleague Mehmet Gem features on episode 257 (if you are looking for resources specifically related to better understanding your organisational and company culture).

For more about the role of the First Contact Physiotherapist, all you need to know is covered in our blog here.
