How does the body store trauma and what are some ways to release stuck emotions?

In this weeks episode I connect with David Manning who is the founder of the Emotional Release Institute which is the birthplace of Neo Emotional Release Method and one of the worlds leading professional training institutes in the field of healing work and personal development where they teach their own methodology of somatic healing integrating various forms coaching, therapy and bodywork.

David is one of the leading experts out there today in the field of trauma and how stuck emotions affects our physical body.

I personally find it so interesting to explore the perspective how it is all connected and how my earliest experiences in life is affecting my mental and physical well being today.

In this conversation you’ll hear us talk about perspectives like:

  • How to release stuck emotions from the body
  • How emotional trauma is affecting your physical body and the symptoms that might tell you that you are carrying something that needs to be released
  • Why is it that anger is so hard for so many people to release, express and open up for and why is it important to tap into the energy of anger
  • The connection between anger and healthy boundaries
