Dawn Deguire was a violent alcoholic by the time she was 16 years old.
She didn’t understand why she got so angry when she drank until she started to learn about her family lineage.
After many very painful years of addiction, Dawn turned to the 12 steps and through that door she found her spirituality and realized the flow of the universe.
In this episode Dawn Deguire talked to me about how her addiction started and what brought her into recovery, how the 12 steps changed the game for her, Intergenerational trauma, Indigenous teachings and cultural practices that helped her and what her understanding of God.
