Summary

Janna and I met in a new mom's group after becoming mothers and have shared vulnerable shared ups and downs through the years. Janna shares the lesson of accepting help, and the lesson of "letting go." She discusses how our responses to situations can be clues, and the beautiful lesson to replace shame with grace. We discuss how we both learned that exercise helps our mental health, and we discuss the benefits of therapy.
Added: *Trigger Warning*
This conversation is tender, honest and vulnerable. I applaud Janna for sharing her stories, because I believe post-partum depression is (as she says) "glossed over by society" but I believe by talking about it, it may uncover healing and let moms know they are not alone. Overall, the conversation highlights the need for open and honest discussions about the realities of motherhood and the importance of support and understanding.
I hope you enjoy this episode that is filled with hard earned wisdom.
