Another great reminder came my way today from a wonderful difference maker, Coach Ray Ostrowski (@CoachRayO3313) who is a former student that I got to know while working during a few of my 34 years in teaching and now he is an awesome teacher & coach himself. He’s not only helping his students and players, but plenty of people like me. Part of what he said as intro to this post was this: “Part of maturing is establishing the strength to persevere and recognizing that the work you do in the darkness will eventually come to the light in due time.” You see, I view myself as still maturing… even at my age. 😂 So I know this advice he shares is something all of us can take a look at to see how we can use it. Another big shout out came to me from another former student Zach, who also is in education and coaching. He shared with me a recent episode connected with him with a message he needed to hear. Not only did he reach out to thank me, he responded with some amazing & powerful encouragement. All of this from sharing good information that helps others - just like what Coach Ray shared.
