In this episode, Roxanne and guest Dr. Lubna Louraden delve into the human side of change and its management in organizations. They explore why change often fails, the cost of mismanaging it, and discuss the current pressing change of returning to work post-pandemic. They also touch on Elon Musk's perspective and the importance of understanding team needs.

Quote: “We cannot continue to force change through a firehose; people are choking. It is truly time to stop and consider what specifically do we want to change and what is the priority?” Dr. Loubna Noureddin

We have all experienced so much change in the last few years due to the pandemic. We have been in a fairly constant state of flux and have had to learn how to adapt pretty quickly to whatever was happening at the time. Now that many have or are moving toward returning to work in person, we’re again in that state of change. On this episode of Authentic Living with Roxanne, we’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Loubna Noureddin to share her unique perspective on change and offer tips on how leaders can make it less stressful and transition more successfully when necessary.

This was such a great interview packed with so much interesting information about workplace conflict that we decided to turn it into a 2-part series. Be sure to tune in again next week for part II.

Loubna is a leadership scholar, orphans advocate, civil war survivor, and co-founder of Mind Market Consultants, a resource and coaching centre for organizations and start-ups prioritizing cultures of brilliance over systems of unnecessary change and chaos. Loubna’s expertise as an executive coach and Leadership scholar has positioned her as a value-added resource for leaders in today’s unpredictable business environment. Her extensive career of 20+ years has been dedicated to posturing leaders and teams for success through complex change. As a thought leader in the learning and industry, Loubna has extensive experience coaching teams and groups, from boards to C-Suite executives and their teams.
