Today, I uncover the differences and similarities between two age-old healing systems: Ayurvedic medicine and Chinese medicine.
Join me as we embark on a journey, where I share my unique experience of teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis and pattern differentiation to a group of enthusiastic Indian doctors.
I'll share the lesser-known use of yoga and the interesting health benefits of oil pulling, as well as look at the 5 elements and the 3 Doshas.
I will also journey through the notion of Qi and Prana, enriching our understanding of these age-old healing practices. TCM prenatal and postnatal Qi, surprisingly bear a resemblance to Ayurvedic Prakriti and Vikruti, painting a vivid picture of shared understanding between these ancient practices.
Finally, I shed light on the 7 main chakras in Ayurvedic medicine and their corresponding acupuncture points in TCM, offering an enlightening comparison of two leading medical practices and their interconnectedness to overall wellness. Don't miss this exciting journey of discovery.
