Yoga philosophy is described in the "Yoga Sutras of Patanjali", where he describes the eight limbs or stages, that must be followed in order to attain salvation. The eight limbs include the yamas and niyamas, asanas—physical exercises. It is a stable comfortable state of body and mind.
