In this episode of Uncharted Performance we are joined by Tracy Beck, physical therapist and creator of Connected Physical Therapy and Wellness. Tracy is here to tell us, it is not enough to simply get better after seeing a PT, we want to be well, and that often requires a practitioner who is able and wiling to find out the root cause. She has chosen to break off from the traditional/rigid model of physical therapy and find her own unique approach. Among other things, you’ll find out how fascia works and how crucial it is, what types of movements can facilitate the development of a healthy fascial system, how we can challenge tissue in a healthy way and what makes flexibility so important for all sports disciplines.
