The value of peer support in recovery has been slowly gaining more recognition. We have lived the truth of the importance of this type of support with fellow SCARS Survivors since we began meeting together in 2016. Rachelle and Tammy chat about their experiences with counseling and peer support and how that helped in their recovery from being in abusive relationships.
