Today we are joined by Brad Sheppard, AFL West Coast Eagles player, All Australian and Ellen’s partner, to chat about life as a professional athlete - particularly with regards to both physical and mental health.
We chat about the day to day life in a footy club, some of the challenges on and off field and how he learnt to get the best out of his performance.
Listen in next week for part 2 as we talk more about Brad’s experiences with concussions, having his AFL career end as a result and what life looks like beyond being an athlete.
