Death Doesn't Exist: The Mind-Blowing Truth About What's Next - with Stephen Grey
Manage episode 452043462 series 2881013
"There is life after death. The truth is it's a gateway to eternity."
Sah is joined by filmmaker Stephen Grey and near-death experience survivor Steve Kang to explore one of humanity's greatest mysteries—what happens after we die? Their groundbreaking documentary "After Death" has captivated audiences across North America, becoming one of the highest-grossing documentaries since 2019 with over a million tickets sold.
Through intimate conversation, Steve Kang shares his profound personal journey from surviving a suicide attempt to experiencing a life-changing near-death experience that transformed his understanding of existence. Having grown up in a Buddhist household, his story offers a unique perspective on how these experiences transcend religious and cultural boundaries.
This episode challenges conventional thinking about death and the afterlife, weaving together scientific research, personal testimonies, and cross-cultural insights. While offering fascinating evidence of consciousness beyond death through interviews with bestselling authors, doctors, and scientists, listeners should note the documentary takes a notably conservative Christian perspective (content warning: includes heteronormative views and traditional biblical interpretations).
Whether you're curious about near-death experiences, grappling with questions about the afterlife, or seeking understanding about life's purpose, this episode offers thought-provoking insights into what might await us all. Don't miss this chance to hear two pioneering voices discuss their quest to illuminate what lies beyond our earthly existence.
