Through some of the most challenging times in her life, Ellie Mendoza decided to do something that most people would never attempt to do. While the world was shutting down due to Covid in 2020, Ellie struggled with her mental health. She hit a breaking point and chose to seek professional help, and through these struggles, she found her independence. She made choices that showed her that she could do hard things and find the needed empowerment.
