Christian families have a responsibility to discuss and acknowledge race and systemic racism. We really believe this conversation is one that must continue as we teach our children how to love and embrace everyone around them! We had the incredible opportunity to spend time with Jamesetta Cleveland, single mom to three grown children—one boy and two girls. She is very involved in the life of our church, and through her ministry, Sports Mom University, Jamesetta spends her time investing in the lives of moms whose kids are heavily involved in sports. We loved hearing her story, and listening as she discussed practical ways we can discuss race and other differences with our children.
