The business cards, the website, the photoshoot…..none of it actually matters when you are starting a business.
So, what should you be focusing on?
In this episode I’m joined by the incredible Gemma Gilbert, a business coach specialising in all things group programmes. Gemma was the coach who helped me create my group coaching programme Side Hustle without Social, as well as so much more than that.
She shares the things she wasted time and money on at the beginning of her business. Her meteoric rise to a £10k month, plus all the trials and tribulations that she's faced along the way.
I just know that you're going to absolutely love this episode.
“Take rough steps forward, like messy, imperfect action, without having your shit together”– Gemma Gilbert
You'll hear about:

02:23 – Why teaching didn’t fit Gemma’s lifestyle anymore

07:37 - Taking calculated risks for career growth

10:54 – Jumping before you are ready

14:44 – You don’t need things to be perfect to succeed

18:40 – How Gemma struggled with simplifying her business

22:16 – The appeal of evergreen models of business

25:02 - Creating successful group programs with a niche market

28:29 – Why marketing without an offer is pointless
