Albums That Saved My Life: Break The Language Barrier - Episode 6 with Shaun Clohessy
Manage episode 417014029 series 3573073
In this sixth episode of PodStance: The PunkStance Podcast, I get the honour of speaking to salesperson, friend and fellow Curly-Whirly member Shaun Clohessy. In the final episode of 2023, Shaun and I take a "deep Dave" into the modern UK rap scene and the influence his chosen record has had on the industry, that being 'PTSD' by trap/hip-hop duo D-Block Europe respectively. Ranging from past health scares and personal anecdotes to the discontinuing of classic confectionary and the concept of nostalgia itself, this conversation gave me a beautiful insight not only into a music scene I know next to little about, but also into Shaun himself and the life he lived prior to our meeting.
When this goes up, it should be just a couple of days before Christmas, so I and the rest of the PunkStance team want to wish you all a very happy holiday. 2023 has been incredible for this page all thanks to your continued support and I'm so excited to see what 2024 has to offer.
A very Merry Christmas to you all and have yourselves a painfully happy holiday! I'll see you all on the other side of 2023.
