In this episode, we welcome Nicole Chavez to the show for an emotional interview. Nicole tragically lost her son, Jaydon Chavez Silver, to a drive-by shooting 8 years ago. Jaydon was headed to the Airforce Academy when he was gunned down. Since then, Nicole has become a relentless advocate for holding criminals accountable.
New Mexico is now the most violent state in the country, and Nicole has taken it upon herself to make this state safer so no family has to experience the loss she has. She opens up about her journey, sharing her anger with God after the shooting and her healing when she realized that God had a purpose for her in this state.
Nicole's story is both emotional and inspirational. She is now running for the state legislature to try and bring about change to our laws in Santa Fe. You absolutely have to hear this episode.
