Olympic issues: Laurel Hubbard. Plus, the case for Caffeine and Pre-Workouts

Today we chat about the New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, a transexual (Male to Female) athlete. We discuss the fairness of of competing with the proven physiological advantages of going through puberty, and living and training as a Male for the majority of their life. These include, muscle strength, bone density, increased heart size, power capacity - the list goes on.
We also talk about the backlash of Simone Biles pulling out of the gymnastics. We talk about why these demanding, highly technical events are potentially incredibly dangerous for someone not completely dialled in mentally.
The main discussion is about pre workouts, caffeine and why you may or many not get value out of them.
