What is the relationship between self confidence, belief and reality? I think they are intrinsically related.
The more self confidence you have, the more ability you have to believe something- even when you have no proof, or experience to know your belief is true. But that belief is a vital part of creating your reality.
Just as Jesus Christ, during his final week of mortality, had previously never experienced the pain and anguish of suffering for the sins of all mankind, we feel the push to do something new, having never accomplished that thing before.
But we can develop our self confidence of who we are, what we are capable of doing, and then believe that we can accomplish the very task ahead of us. Just like Christ. He knew who he was, what he was capable of, then chose to believe that he could and would do it.
This created the reality of a perfect atoning sacrifice being completed.
