Who is Caleb Minter?
Caleb Minter began his professional career as a vocalist after the tragedy of gun violence claimed the life of his older brother Clarence Minter. While Caleb grew up singing in the choir and studied music at Middle Tennessee State University, this sudden tragedy became the path towards his destiny.
Born and raised in Bolivar, Tennessee where he began his musical career leading songs in his church choir. While pursuing an education at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Caleb decided to follow his passion and begin making music. While in college, Caleb set the ground work for his career performing at events and working on original music and collabs with local artists. Since graduating from MTSU, Caleb Minter has been no stranger to the “main stream” music and entertainment industry. Caleb has graced the stage as the headline opener for songstress tweet in New York City. Rolling out magazine captured Caleb on the red carpet, before he performed for the president of ebony magazine at the tribute to James Brown in Chicago, Illinois where they celebrated actor Nelsan Ellis’ ebony magazine cover for his movie role in “get on up”. Chicago’s morning show you and me hosts ,Jeanne Sparrow and Melissa Forman interviewed Caleb on their show and he was featured in an article by star central magazine as “male YouTube artist of the month” October 2013 issue. As if his career hasn’t been astonishing enough, Caleb had the pleasure of performing a private showcase for the cast of “True Blood”. Additional career highlights for the indie artist Caleb Minter include, second round auditions of the voice and Sunday’s Best and performing with Sunday’s Best Season 2 phenom Zebulon Ellis.
