Alex Ainscough is not the first journeyman footballer to step into the 11 and I am guessing he will not be the last. A star studded youth career saw Alex receive interest from a majority of the top college programs in the United States and led to him landing at Stanford University at probably the height of the Stanford dynasty. As many young players realize as they move to higher levels of play, everyone was a star before and Alex struggled in his time with the Cardinals. A transfer ensued that went south quickly and before you know it Alex was left to chase his dream, becoming a professional footballer, and here is how he did it...
