We are excited to be back with you for Season 4: From Prejudice to Practice: Unlocking the Therapeutic Cannabis Industry.
According to a recent survey, 1 in 5 American adults is consuming some form of cannabis.
The important thing to consider is whether or not you intend to recommend cannabis products in your practice, many of your patients are already consuming them, and as a medical providers, it’s important that we be able to speak to the research and help safely guide patients.
In this season, we welcome Dr. Janice Knox, a cannabinoid medicine specialist, board-certified anesthesiologist, and leading expert on medical cannabis, Emily Dufton, A drug historian, Dr. Kelly Heim, Senior Scientific Director of Genomics and Pharmacology for the Healthcare Practitioner Brands of Atrium Innovations, and Dr. Codi Peterson, a pediatric cannabis PharmD, to guide us through the complicated history of cannabis, the risks, and therapeutic applications, and the future of the industry.
