In this week's episode, Isabel chats with Aitch Alexandar, trans/queer author and cat lover/advocate. Aitch didn't grow up with cats but has always had an affinity with them, likely a trait he inherited from his father. Isabel and Aitch discuss a few of Aitch's favorite things including his favorite cat breed and how he likes his pizza in a game called "Aitch's Favs." Isabel also invites Aitch to read one of his poems. He chooses Tombstone, which is the final poem in his book, My Body is a Junkyard. In it, Aitch tells us that every single cat he meets is a rainbow and every pizza he eats is a poem, even the not-so-good ones. Aitch is a truly special soul, one that lights up in the presence of cats, speaks multiple languages, and has overcome much adversity to proudly be who he is today.
