We are all different. We have different DNA, genes, cultures, stress levels, body types, and metabolic function. We’ve all been eating different foods, moving in different ways, breathing different air, and having different thoughts. Some of us grew up in the country surrounded by grass and trees, some grew on farms, and others grew up in major cities. Some of us smoked, did drugs and drank. We all have different food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances. We have different likes and dislikes, attitudes toward certain things, and different perspectives. We have different religious beliefs and politics, habits, perspectives, goals, experiences and relationships.

All of these things create bodies that have different gut microbiomes and amounts of inflammation, oxidative stress. These differences cause our hormones act and react differently, make us break down and use food differently, given us high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, psoriasis, rosacea, autoimmune illness, insulin resistant, diabetic, overweight, underweight, tired, fatigued or energized.

And all of these things make you who you uniquely are.
So, in order to made lasting change, you need to play detective to find out what works for you.
