Lia Morton from the University of Ottawa interviews Dr. Marisa Azad. Dr. Azad is a physician-scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and an Assistant Professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at the University of Ottawa. In this episode, Dr. Azad shares her insight and expertise on implant-associated infections (IAIs), notably the challenges of detecting and diagnosing IAIs and emerging diagnostic methods.
