Hello and welcome to another episode of the Dermatillo-diaries! Today I have with me a very special guest, CEO and Founder of Picking Me Foundation, Lauren McKeaney.
Founded in August 2016 and through Lauren’s efforts, Picking Me Foundation NFP is the only donor-supported nonprofit dedicated to advocating Dermatillomania (Skin Picking Disorder) for sufferers, supporters, and educational communities alike, encouraging individuals to choose themselves over the mental illness that chose them.
I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with Lauren - it was great to hear more on what Picking Me Foundation are doing for BFRB sufferers like me. I remember first coming across the foundation and instantly feeling so seen and understood. It's no wonder that many, many others are feeling better supported through the amazing work that they do.
