Did you know that you have FULL control over your own feelings? You can FULLY manage your OWN emotions by building self awareness. Emotions like: doubt, fear, sadness, happiness, etc.. YOU can choose what you want to feel.
Wendy emphasizes a common thought most people have: “my feelings choose me”, rather than thinking “I CHOOSE my own feelings.” She explains that HOW we think about our emotions can ultimately control the decisions we make and the way we live our life.

She also encourages listeners to question whether or not certain feelings will serve us. By asking ourselves: “Is this emotion going to serve me or help me get to the result I’m trying to get?” And if the feelings don’t serve you, she teaches you 3 ways to actually shift into a feeling that will ACTUALLY serve you by asking yourself “what’s a better feeling that I can step into that can lead me to the result I want?” By becoming consciously aware of our feelings we can decide whether or not we want to stay in that feeling or not.

Wendy explains that there is a 3 step process to follow if you want to learn how to manage your feelings:

1. Naming the feeling.

2. Asking yourself: “does this feeling serve me?”

3. Shifting into a different feeling if you choose.

It all starts with awareness, awareness of your nervous system and who is ultimately in control of your feelings.
