1878 - Sante Fe, New Mexico - Rising 22 feet (or 6.1 meters) into the air in Loretto Chapel is what many consider to be an actual miracle. It is made out of wood that so far has been identified as a relative of a tree found in Alaska, sorta but otherwise not much luck on where it came from. It’s freestanding with no center support. Also, nobody knows how it was built then or now. We never got to ask because the single, solitary, carpenter that built this did it in complete privacy and vanished the morning it was found constructed in the chapel. He never said his name but was the answer to the nuns novena.
