Welcome to our bonus episode of Who Uses a Director of Football?: Sudamericana Adventure.

In the Bigger Match - two of the best sides in Chile will be facing off in a parallel universe showdown. It's multiverse madness, but (in true WUADOF fashion) with added wing backs!

In the blue corner, Renzo leads out Universidad de Chile, currently 2nd in the league in Chile in 2026 and only two points off the league leaders. This strong side features a strong all round team led by their captain and goalscorer extraordinaire Ivo Mammini 'Cooper'. The supporting cast features the highly talented Chilean international Lucas Assadi and the midfield maestros Lucas Barbosa and Emmanuel Ojeda. A balanced team, but will the centre backs be able to cope with the incredible quality of Audax Italiano's forwards?

Whilst in the green corner, Pa leads out his Audax Italiano team, also currently 2nd in the league in Chile in 2028. The team features the elite double attacking threat of the Chilean International Carlos Buscuñan and the Uruguayan wonderkid Federico Fernandez, and a stout defensive unit built around the exceptional talents of Felipe Torres and Luis Mercado. With the driving forward runs of Paulo Victor from wing back providing width they should be able to stretch the pitch, but will they have enough talent in the middle of the park to get their forwards in the game?

It's grudge match time in Chile, as Tom (Pa) and Lewis (Renzo) face off. With bragging rights on the line, we hope you're licking your lips for two legs (and potentially extra time and penalties) of edge of the seat virtual football!
