Debut author J.T. Maxwell had this idea for Red Brick Road in high school, and did nothing with it until his son was born in '07, then shelved it in '11, and came back to it when the world shut down 4 years ago. He's a teacher, a husband, a father, and now an author. His book is about...well, the easiest way to put it, do you remember when Dorothy lands in Munchkin Land in the Wizard of Oz, and the Munchkins tell her to follow the yellow brick road?
