Manage episode 424470527 series 2889317
As many of you know, we work with people to help them limit their toxic chemical exposure, specifically by reducing their use of plastic chemicals. 300 million tons of plastic is produced each year worldwide. Coming into contact with plastic is unavoidable, so we must do our part to limit how much is produced each year through recycling. Plastic isn’t the only thing that’s ending up in our landfills. So many recyclable products are thrown away every year, which has caused many local communities to increase their recycling initiatives. However, not everything we think belongs in the recycling bin belongs there. That’s why we are so happy to be joined today by Emma Dendler, the Simple Environmentalist. Emma is a climate activist and advocate for zero waste living. We’re going to discuss how to recycle properly so that we can have a cleaner planet.
