Food & Anxiety with Jess Sherman
Manage episode 439596459 series 2889317
We’ve been creating a lot of content as of late about food. While we can remove things like personal care and beauty products from our daily routine, human beings need food to survive. Unfortunately, many foods today are made with preservatives, artificial ingredients, and other additives that can make food addicting, disrupt our hormones, and even promote anxious behaviors. These are troublesome for adults, as they can lead to infertility and health problems.
However, these ingredients are even more troublesome for children, who are still developing mentally and physically. That’s why we are so excited to be joined today by Jess Sherman. Jess is an Award-winning Nutritionist, Author, Coach & Family Health Educator based out of Ottawa.
We’re going to discuss how food can trigger anxiety, how sugar impacts a child’s health, and signs that your child might need to change their diet.
