The Tally Ho welcomes you to The Village as we continue our journey through classic TV series The Prisoner. In this episode we look at Checkmate, the ninth episode of The Prisoner. After taking part in a game of human chess, Number 6 (Patrick McGoohan) believes he has found a foolproof way to tell which of his fellow residents are also prisoners, and which are really on the side of The Village. Armed with this knowledge he begins to assemble a team for a daring escape attempt. Join us as we discuss this episode which contains some of the most iconic visuals of the whole series and a terrific supporting cast.

We are then joined once again by Rick Davy of The Unmutual to discuss Checkmate and the upcoming 'Not a Number' event to celebrate the life and career of Patrick McGoohan.
