She Did Everything Out of Love
Manage episode 273707176 series 2797288
Losing Feda & Mu is something that I still can’t fully process. Will I get through it? Yes. Will I ever be okay with their lives being cut tragically short? Nope. But if I learned anything from Feda it’s this - 1) red lipstick makes every woman feel better and 2) life is only worth living if you do everything out of love.
This will be the last episode of The Scoop. Feda and I specifically designed the format and content of this podcast to take into account both of our experiences and points of view. It’s not the same without her voice and I can’t imagine trying to find someone else to replace her. It just doesn’t work.
I wanted to end this podcast by sharing the audio recording of an interview I did with Feda on May 29th.I had reached out to her to have her share her story as part of a course for Behavior Analysts for On Location, my media company that I founded with Ryan O’Donnell. We wanted to share the impact of COVID on the field of Behavior Analysis. We knew we had to include families and service recipients. Feda was totally game. She was adamant she wanted to shed light on the plight of parents who were trying to support their children with severe autism during the pandemic. We hadn’t seen each other in almost 3-months and I was craving her swearing, hugs and food. Feda was totally open, raw, hilarious and deeply inappropriate at times. So basically she was 100% herself. You can watch the full-length video, which also has lots of footage of Feda with Mu for FREE via On Locations course website (first link in the Show Notes).
Thank you for supporting The Scoop. Thank you for loving Feda. Thank you for supporting me. And please, please remember to do as many things in your life out of love.
