This week, Annmarie and Echo share a few drinks with the hilarious Desiree Simone, host of the Break Bottles Not Hearts podcast (not to mention a long-time friend and proud Missionary). The girls rely on Desiree's Boozy Bestie wisdom as they discuss being single on Valentine's Day, how to plan a romantic date for the holiday, and what it takes to make a relationship work long-term. Of course, it wouldn't be The Roster if things didn't veer a little off track, so the secret to getting anal, the DP for VD campaign, and stories of blacked-out debauchery are also reviewed.
Next, the trio moves into the main event of the evening: Queen of Hearts, a familiar game with a twist that Desiree decides to play with HARD LIQUOR. Join them in the game with rules posted to IG, as they discuss which dead presidents they would have sex with and which they would straight up murder (this is somehow not a KFM), whether Prince was a solo masturbator or an oral-only kind of guy, and the first time Desiree ate pussy, in a room full of politicians and stay-at-home moms alike.
Including segments of Two Truths and Real Dumb Questions, Desiree and the girls battle the sexual tension between them to discuss more serious topics as well: telling partners about past trauma for the first time, the importance and value of vulnerability in relationships, the pressure on both men and women during Valentine's Day, and the dual power of effort and communication. They end the show by discussing workplace hangovers and answering questions from the Missionaries about how to convince your boyfriend who hates Valentine's Day to make it a special day anyway and what to do when you love someone who doesn't love you back.
