What is the Life and Blended Podcast about? Who are the hosts?
The goal of this podcast is to create an open space to talk about a wide range of real issues that many people deal with. Dwayne and Jess Curry are married with a blended family of four children and aim to bring their experiences into discussions with each other and everyday people.
Dwayne grew up without his father in his life and dealt with a difficult divorce. As a single mother, Jess' view on marriage was influenced by her parents yet impacted by how our culture has shifted what it is today. Here's an interesting highlight from this episode: "50% of families in the US are blended and about 1,300 new blended families form each day" (The Stepfamily Foundation).
