Recently, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts received power from its first large scale offshore wind development, which was many years in the making. Large scale offshore wind projects are critical to the nation’s energy future and the cornerstone of regional and state efforts to achieve legislatively mandated clean energy implementations. These projects have also proven to be some of the most difficult to execute and controversial efforts in recent infrastructure history in this country. Come enjoy a brown bag lunch webinar with the BBA to listen and engage with an expert panel of representatives from the development, utility, regulator and non-governmental advocacy communities speaking on the challenges encountered by offshore wind developments over the past years and the notable opportunities that exist for successfully taking these projects forward to achieve a sustainable, equitable and clean energy transition and future.
