Welcome to the Horror Project Podcast. Join hosts Laura and Phil as they review Lake Placid (1999).
This was a first time watch for both us, and it wildly swerved every expectation that we may have had going into it. (We've only waited 25 years to check it out).
With an incredibly strong cast delivering performances which left us scratching our heads, Brendan Gleeson we are looking at you!?! With an odd accent which travels from Dublin to Maine, plus everywhere in-between.
We also discuss Betty White’s disregard for her own cattle and the CGI / animatronic hybrid which creates the giant killer Crocodile. We couldn’t help but compare it to the dinosaur’s featured in Jurassic Park which was released only 6 years earlier.
Plus we shall be finding a place on the leaderboard for the movie during our Ranking.
